Insurance

The Gorlin Syndrome Group and Freedom Insurance link up in 'Partnership Scheme'
Freedom Insurance Services operates a 'partnership' scheme to charities within the medical sector.  We are  delighted to announce that we have entered a partnership arrangement with Freedom.

Travel insurance is absolutely crucial in order to maximise security and peace of mind when booking a holiday particularly if you are living with a medical condition. Illness and accidents can become traumatic and expensive when abroad but a well constructed travel insurance policy, specifically extended to include your medical condition, means that you can relax and enjoy your trip.

Freedom specialises in providing cover to include medical conditions offering:

  • No on-going medical warranty: Freedom's cover will stand by the health screening made at the time of taking out the policy. They will not change the terms, void the policy or ask for additional premium should there be a change in health status.
  • No high or extreme excesses should you need to make a claim.
  • Should you need to claim in relation to your medical condition or another relevant reason, you will be covered up to £5,000,000 per person for medical expenses and repatriation and £3,000 per person for cancellation.
  • Travelling companions with or without medical conditions can also take advantage of the scheme.

Freedom has extensive experience in providing travel insurance solutions for people living with pre-existing medical conditions. They work with affinity groups within the medical sector and over 100 NHS Trust Hospitals. Freedom offers to provide security and peace of mind, allowing you and your travelling companions to relax, unwind and really enjoy your holiday. Special packages are available for those with mobility difficulties, including cover for wheelchairs, medication and carers.

Check out the website at Freedom Insurance Services for more information or to obtain advice, medical screening procedure and/or a quotation.  Remember, all policies sold quoting GORLIN will attract a donation to the Gorlin Syndrome Group.

For each policy sold, Freedom will make a donation to the Gorlin Syndrome Group.
