Gorlin Syndrome Group achieves Information Standard certification.
The Information Standard is a certification programmes for health and care information. It is an independent programme supported by NHS England.
If an organisation successfully meets the quality criteria of the standard and becomes certified, it can place the quality mark on its materials. The quality mark is a quick and easy way for the public to identify reliable and trustworthy sources of information. The programme's certified members are a mix of national charities, NHS organisations, voluntary, statutory and commercial organisations.
Organisations achieving the Information Standard undergo a rigorous assessment to check that the information they produce is clear, accurate, balanced, evidence-based and up to date.
Web pages that have undergone the review process will now include one of four Information Standard logos as appropriate.
Originally produced by Professor P. A. Farndon, Clinical Geneticist, Jim Costello (deceased) and Margaret Costello. We are reliant on a team of medical advisors for the clinical content of the website. We are grateful for their continuing support.
